I hope you’ve been enjoying the art that’s been posted the past few days. I’m releasing all of the unreleased works and finishing up all of the unfinished works in preparation for 2013. While going through some old files I found the above image, titled dfgjr. It’s just a little doodle I made in a few seconds back in 2009. Pretty sure he started out as a spiral, quickly evolving into a bipedal reptilian being of some sort. I post it here because I think there is a certain value to doodles, those creations we never expect anyone to see, created when the mind is allowed to wander. Finding dfgjr years later was like finding an old friend, a friend I wanted to introduce to all of you. But instead of just posting the doodle, I thought I’d also make an updated version. Perhaps by the end of 2013 I’ll have enough creatures to publish The Interopia Encyclopedia of Invented Creatures!
